ActWISE+ Leadership Café Session 1

Last Saturday (November 8), the first session of the Leadership Café series was held with the theme “Values in Action: Everyday Ethics.”

In the first activity, representatives of youth communities were invited to explore the differences between values, morals, ethics, and etiquette. They also discussed various ethical dilemmas that are often encountered, both in the community and in everyday life. Several reflective questions arose, such as, is it better to be “honest but disliked” or “liked but dishonest”?

In the second activity, participants were invited to understand what it means to be an ethical and responsible individual. They also shared various real cases from their community experiences and the ethical decisions they had made.

Through this series of activities, participants are expected to gain the knowledge to understand the basics of ethics in decision-making, both in the community and society. In the next meeting, they will learn basic skills for dealing with ethical dilemmas. Stay tuned for the excitement of the next Leadership Café session! 🌱
